PC player: is it ok?
« on: June 17, 2016, 07:30:46 PM »
So, I've been coding a PC player for Hive365, for people who don't wanna have the browser open all the time and (for some reason) don't wanna use the already provided methods. It includes: choon, poon, djftw, shoutouts and song requests, as well as obviously the actual music player. For these features I've had to "reverse engineer" a bit, just enough to find the necessary URLs.
What I was wondering is: is that ok? If you tell me it isn't, I will instantly delete everything, but if not I could release it to the peoples.

Hey Pipe01,

We already have a 'pc player' that is our Desktop Gadget, where you can choon, poon, Djftw, request, shoutout and listen to music. All information from our devices is sent to a custom dashboard for Djs.
How do you expect our Djs to receive the information from your custom player?

Why do you not want to the Hive365 Desktop Gadget?

All Hive365s intellectual property is also copyrighted and protected by DMCA.
We would ask respectfully that you do not distribute any custom players that interact with the Hive365 stream.

Kind regards
Alpha

I have been converting my WAV music files my personal music to WMA. After I made the conversion, I tried to put the file into the folder where you can transfer it to the MP3 Player. The MP3 Player is compatable with WMA files too
But it told me that MY music is write protected. How can that be when it is MY music and how can I put it in my MP3 Player?
